Railway sleepers provide a simple, solid and attractive edge for a patio - partly decorative, and partly structural. The African Azobe used here are a reddish brown, which adds an attractive 'frame' to this seating area. They are exceptionally heavy (100kg - 120kg each) which needs thought & care when lifting them.
