Thanks for your brilliant pictures. What an epic project you took on to transform your steep sloping garden. Terracing garden slopes with sleepers is one of the most popular useages of railway sleepers. Here they are placed in a trench vertically, and are a fine alternative to a brick wall, creating imaginative areas from an unuseable slope.
