Railway sleepers are brilliant for creating unusual shapes and designs. Your great photos help to illustrate the building process of your design from start to finish. Showing the battens at the beginning that keep the sleepers attached to each other, (both vertically and horizontally), and the corner sleeper posts that keep the construction stable. Carrying on to the filling up of the bed with soil and planting it up, to the staining of the sleepers (now with with sunken lights fitted). And finally, the standing back and admiring the masterpeice !
